Most articles are only available to signed-in EmpowerFresh users. Signing in also lets the assistant answer questions about ordering, catalogs, files, and forecasting.

Trouble getting in is covered below — those articles don't need an account.

Trouble signing in?

These two don't need an account.

How do I reset my password?

On the sign-in page, type your email address in the email box and click Password Reset. Confirm the pop-up ("Send Temporary Password") and the system emails you a short temporary password.

Sign in with that temporary password. The app immediately takes you to a screen where you set a real one — you cannot get anywhere else until you do.

The temporary password expires quickly, so use it as soon as it arrives. If it has expired you'll see "Password expired"; just request another one.

Your new password has to be at least 8 characters and contain a lower case letter, an upper case letter, a number and a special character. It cannot contain your name or any part of your email address. The screen lists exactly what is still missing as you type.

  • The email comes from no-reply@empowerfresh.com with the subject "EmpowerFresh Access". Check your junk folder.
  • If nothing arrives, the address you typed may not match the one on your account, or your account may be inactive. An administrator at your company can check on the Users screen.
  • To change a password you already know, use Change Password in the user menu instead.

I can't sign in. What should I check?

Failed attempts do not lock your account. You can keep trying, and there is no cool-down to wait out.

What the messages mean:

  • "Incorrect password" — the account exists, the password is wrong. Use Password Reset on the sign-in page.
  • "Invalid user" — no active account for that email address. Either the address is wrong, your account has been deactivated, or a password has never been set on it. A brand-new account has no password at all, so the first thing you must do is request a temporary password.
  • "Password expired" — you're using a temporary password that has timed out. Request a new one.

An administrator at your company can confirm your email address and whether your account is active on the Users screen. If your account is right and you still can't get in, submit a ticket with the exact message you're seeing and the email address on the account.
